hello from september! it's still summer but my cailleach cornhusk dollie is up on the kitchen altar alongside brìd. the cold winds are just hinting at arising, soon yet not very; down by the river with my family late saturday afternoon i was cold even in jeans. hot days aren't done here, but we are feeling earlier cooler nights now.

tomorrow, MOONWORK begins, at a new time, in a new shape. this practice space is a public invitation to all queers & those who love us into a distinctly queer somatics developed in service of queer return to belonging with liberation ancestors & the land. we follow lunar cycles of waxing & waning, dreaming & digesting, longing & resting, oscillating through contradictions as we oscillate through time, always reorienting towards sovereign purpose within interwoven queer lineages.

MOONWORK welcomes each individual's devotion to their own specific cultural traditions of lunar reverence, as sacred in themselves & as intrinsic shaping forces in the culture of lunar reverence we grow together.

all attending are asked & expected to be practicing wealth & resource sharing / redistribution in their local context, according to their power & capacity. what we do together is essential & it is also not everything or enough!

MOONWORK: ancestral time for queer futures
(most) TUESDAYS
9:30 am vancouver / 12:30 pm montréal / 6:30 pm berlin
30-45 minutes

each session will include grounding in self through midline rooted in land & sky, grounding in the purposeful sea of our sangha gathered for shared practice, and grounding in devotion to our ancestors & our descendants, our continuity carrying the spark of Aliveness through the ages, knowing ourselves to be present-time Catalysts for change.

we practice in whatever state we arrive in, simply, with repetition, practically tending to both our somatic resourcing (for resourcing is both our birthright & our replenishment from & for that which we resist) & our experiential digestion (for it is human to get stuck, particularly when the World is so viciously overwhelming in atrocity as it is today––but, as my teacher samia in turtle cypher said to us this spring, if we are stuck, we must act stuck & tend to what keeps us, that we may then continue becoming). waxing & waning, resourcing & digesting, hoping & grieving, desiring & satiating...

my somatics teaching style is to offer clear invitation into specific practice from my personal & collective lineages, with wide & explicit space for each practitioner in the (virtual) room to study & learn their own body as their primary educator. captions on; video off or on; participation by silent presence or voice or chat as suits you. naps are welcome & occasionally offered <3

monthly subscriptions: $33 / $66 / $99
