notice your body. find a way for your body to be a tiny bit more at rest.
"at rest" does not necessarily mean lying down, being still, sleeping, or slowing (though certainly do, if you can)! "at rest" also means not struggling against yourself / collaborating with your current state.
place yourself in time: today, right now; or oriented to a specific past or future moment.
consider something you hope for & something you fear in the moment you are oriented to. consider the easier one first. notice how it feels in your body. then, consider the less easy one. notice how it feels in your body.
"in your body" can mean sensations, as well as colour, texture, movement or stillness, blankness, imagery, posture, gesture, emotion, mood, vibe......
pendulate your attention between these: hope? fear?
pendulate quickly, slowly, evenly, unevenly...at your own rhythm
then widen your attention to sense both at the same time / your whole body
walk it out / shake it off / take some breaths
