MOONWORK: lunar folklore 🌘
today's MOONWORK somatics was rooted in personal lunar folklore, with an invitation into practice with tarot as a folklore cycle that spans many people & lineages
having tuned our bodies to our chosen lunar folklore for today's practice,
we rooted in land/sky & our midline as individual human animals, rooted in our shared gathering as queers & lovers of queers in the connection of water, reanimating relationship to the Moon & we rooted in Time, with our past & lineages at our backs, our descendants & legacies ahead of us.
we felt & practiced our potency to rock between past & future through the present & we felt into our Desire as a driver of Power.
today's group was offered the option to practice with this Numinous Tarot pair of
IV The Shadow (aka The Devil) & XVIII The Moon
as a major arcana arc of healing white supremacy in the body (as it has lived since my first sight of these two cards in my personal queer tarot folklore):
empty, bereft & "bound" by ribbons, likely to devour & destroy >>>
wholly embodied self, earth eyes & third-eye open / Spirit-connected, land-rooted & -branching
or, equally, to divest from this offered model of these two tarot cards
& instead to practice in relationship to your own personal / familial / cultural lunar folklore 🌘
